Ntirety Gets Into MySQL Database Administration

By Doug Caverly

MySQL is now officially under Ntirety's figurative umbrella. The Massachusetts-based company has expanded its remote database services to include the relational database management system, which should result in all sorts of benefits for users.

Let's focus on that "remote" aspect first. Generally speaking, repairmen (and/or repairwomen) are fine, but here's a common problem: it's inconvenient to let them into your home or business, and you've often got to do a bit of cleaning-up afterward. Ntirety's approach of monitoring and tuning things from a distance seems better.

Furthermore, a statement explained how the arrangement can be cost-effective, claiming, "While the typical Ntirety customer sees cost savings greater than 40 percent, new MySQL customers can receive 10% off monthly fees when signing a one-year service agreement."

Finally, although this official expansion is a fresh development, you don't have to worry about being some sort of MySQL guinea pig because Ntirety tested its service during the first quarter of this year.

Michael Corey, Ntirety's founder and CEO, added, "We have expanded and trained a specialized team of DBAs to ensure MySQL customers see the same benefits of cost-saving and improved operation of their database."
